  2. DISADVANTAGES OF HANDPHONE

our mobile phones makes our lifes more convinient, but as the saying goes every technology has it's equal negetive side and mobile phones are not so especial to be exempted.
    -expensive
-people spend less time boding with there family and friends
-people just contact through mobile phone and became too lazy to meet outside
-disturb us on our studies and works
-people spend lots and lots of money buying the latest model to get updated
-affects our body because of radiation it produce
    -easily broken
-mobile phone makes it easier to invade privacy.

There are also disadvantages that come along with the usage of handphones. Firstly, there are limitations to where a handphone can be used. If there were no reception, then there would be no possibility of making or receiving calls. On another note, a person can say he is at a certain place when in fact he s somewhere else. So, you can never be too sure of where a person might actually be. User-abuse is another factor. Here, what is meant by user-abuse is the fact that some users are not considerate in that they make use of the phone in places where it is not allowed. As such they disturbothers. It is one thing to let it ring loudly, but yet another, to be answering the phone. For example, in movie theatres, plays and the like. It is said that there are dangers of handphone radiation, though there is no conclusive evidence to prove a link between cancer and handphone radiation. Lastly, handphones cannot be used in most parts of hospitals as it could affect the readings on the equipments due to the radiation emitted and would pose as great danger to the patients.

  3. DISADVANTAGES OF HANDPHONE

The use of Сеll-рhоnes has been proven to be а big distraction. There are car accidents occurring everywhere due to the lack of attentiveness of drivers. Parents now think that it's better to buy Сеll-рhоnes for their new teen drivers for emergencies, but do you really think that they are used for those only? And since Сеll-рhоnes are so fabulous, then why do you always get а busy, roaming signal and cause you to keep redialing а number till you finally get through to that person? After all that trouble you are normally bothered and frustrated. Things like these can created accidents and even death. The possibility of brain tumors is also increasing with the use of cellular phones. Radiation is enormously hazardous to Сеll-рhоne users. The more cell phone uses, the greater chances become for brain cancer. When Сеll-рhоnes first came out, people purchased them in case of emergencies. Now, people bring their Сеll-рhоnes everyplace they go and use them for pleasure, not essentially for purpose. As convenient as Сеll-рhоnes may seem, there is more to it. Conscientiousness must be taken more sincerely and people need to be more aware of the risks that are involved in purchasing and using а cellular phone.

Using a lot mobile phone can harm your brain, particularly teenager and children who are under 16 years old. If you use mobile phones too much, you will get bad effects like dizzy, blood-brain barrier, or ears problems. In addition, when you use mobile phones while you are driving, you will get an accident. It is essential not good for you and others. Moreover, “radiations emitted from the phone are dead harmful for the eardrum”, has proved by many scientist.

    Radiation
In fact, many reports on the health risks of mobile phones have been published over the last few decades.
A study led by a scientist summarizes some of the researched health consequences of the microwave radiation we are exposed to though mobile phone use:
Electromagnetic waves alter [electric activity of the brain] and cause disturbance in sleep; cause difficulty in concentration, fatigue, and headache; and increase reaction time in a time-dependent manner. They increase the resting blood pressure and reduce the production of melatonin. They are also implicated in DNA strand breaks.
In addition, the use of mobile phones has also been related to Alzheimer’s Disease and Cancer. Mobile phones damage key brain cells and could trigger the early onset of Alzheimer’s disease. …Researchers have found that radiation from mobile phone handsets damages areas of the brain associated with learning, memory and movement.

Disturb us on our studies and works

  5. Advantages Of Handphone

Owning a handphone means one can be easily reached when on the road or when one is not at home or in the office. It can even be used when one is overseas, using the ROAM service. There are features such as voice messages and SMS, in other words, Short Message Service. This is to allow people to contact a handphone owner even if he is busy or is unable take the call. These features enable the owner of the phone to know why he is being called, so on and so forth. SMS-es help to keep it short. Without calling, you can leave a short message. Nowadays though, people use it to have conversations, especially the young, and those who find it easier to message than to talk. It is also cheaper and thus allows one to save on talk time. Another advantage would be that of being able to call whenever and wherever there is an emergency, for example when you are in a road accident or you need to call someone and there does not seem to be any public phones nearby. There are also different mobile service plans to choose from to suit one’s communication needs, be it longer talk time, free incoming or outgoing calls, or more free local SMS. As such, one can reap much benefits and save costs. Nowadays, handphones rarely just have one function, which is to make and receive calls. There are more functions and features such as listening to music, taking pictures with an in-built camera, playing games, and even logging on the internet and etc.

Parents will also be less worried as their kids being constant touch with them whenever they go out. 8. Studying locally or abroad: Which would you prefer?

    ReplyDelete
  9. I prefer local:
    Familiar surroundings
attend local university can enjoy the comfort of familiar surroundings. When students go away to school they may have to adjust to geographical, climate, and local culture. The combination of these adjustments with the rigors of schools can prove to be overwhelming for some individuals. Therefore, some students may want to keep some factors the same. Granted, if people do not go away, they may miss out on some valuable opportunities to grow and be challenged personally and intellectually
    Low-Stress
it can relieve quite a bit of stress to go to university in the same place you've already been living for a while. Chances are you decided to stay because you'll already have an established social life and you'll be familiar with the school you're attending and the resources around it. This can make life a whole lot easier than moving to a new place and having to figure out where everything is

  10. Pros of Studying Abroad

    Degree Value
Unfortunately, there is no worldwide standard for higher education degrees.
Students who earn a degree overseas need to be aware of potential differences in how their degree will be valued in their home country and elsewhere. Unfortunately, there is no worldwide standard for higher education degrees and thus evaluation of degrees is not easy. European degrees have recently been standardized but elsewhere around the world, degrees can vary in length, content and quality. At the graduate level, master's and doctoral degrees differ in their thesis and/or research requirements. There are a number of agencies which specialize in evaluating foreign degrees to determine whether they are equivalent to a degree earned in the person's home country. Students may want to contact one of these agencies before committing to a degree program if they are unsure how it will be valued at home.
    Value to Employers
Studying abroad is usually highly valued by employers.
In general, studying abroad is highly valued by employers. A study abroad experience is assumed to have benefitted the student in ways that will make them a more valuable employee than someone who did not study abroad. Qualities such as self-motivation, maturity, confidence and open-mindedness may be assumed in such students regardless of where they studied abroad or for how long. Beyond these general qualities, certain employers will be looking to hire individuals who have specific language skills, cultural awareness or experience working with people from specific parts of the world.
In some cases, however, an employer may not consider a study-abroad experience to be a positive attribute. For instance, if a student in a rigorous program at a highly respected school studies abroad at a school without the same quality level, some employers may worry the student has missed out on important aspects of their education. Similarly, if a student has earned an entire degree abroad at a school the employer is unfamiliar with, the degree may not be valued as highly as a degree from even a mediocre college in the person's home country. Finally, some employers have the perception that studying abroad is just "play time" rather than a valuable learning experience.

    Quality of Education
The quality of education available around the world varies considerably between countries and also within countries.
The quality of education available around the world varies considerably between countries and also within countries. Students who plan to enroll directly in a university abroad need to do some research to make sure the school they choose meets their standards. The various world university rankings such as the QS World University rankings and the Academic Ranking of World Universities can be helpful although small institutions which may have high-quality instructors but less emphasis on research will typically not rank highly. Prospective students need to verify the school is accredited properly and should talk to present and past students to gather first-hand feedback.

Students who study abroad through an exchange program will not have to worry as much about quality since their home school will have verified this already. These students still need to pick their courses carefully. As a general rule, it is better to take elective courses when studying abroad especially if the student is concerned that the quality of instruction may not be quite as high as at their home school or if they'll be taking the course in a foreign language. Courses that have specific relevance to the location of the school may be of higher quality than those offered at home since the instructors may have first-hand knowledge of the subject-matter.
